That’s my outlook whenever I drive into DC. It’s like driving in Somalia.

Your busses are free? What is this sorcery

The university has a deal with the city to make them free for students. The price of having a split campus’s 25 minutes away from each other.

My school (probably still does) had the same deal with the local transport. Swipe your student ID and you're good to go.

My local transit is so behind. They just got a card system on their buses a year ago, and it only works half the time, everywhere else that uses the system has no problems.

GVSU? I actually think your school finally bulldozed the old plant I used to work in near the downtown campus. It should be a parking lot by now (we were an environmental nightmare and the state gave GVSU one million dollars to then pay us one million dollars to kindly GTFO)

Wow that’s not bad. All the chicago universities give discounted rates for public transportation but you still have to pay something

Interesting. And I would be surprised as long as it was on the west side of the river. We’ve been buying up land like crazy over there.

Every once and a while a reader or card wouldn't work but for the most part it worked great. It was really convenient once I moved to a complex on a route that came once every 20 mins or so
